Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

About the role: We help BT fulfil its global regulatory obligations, supported by our close relationship with customers coupled with our technical expertise and operations staff. We develop innovative service and technical teams that create, manage, and maintain innovative solutions to meet specific customer problems. This job role can be based near Cheltenham, Manchester, Ipswich or Sheffield. Due to security requirements, this role requires you to be located on site during your working hours. Mon-Fri 37.5 hours. DV Security Clearance is required. Must have lived in UK for 10+ years to obtain clearance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support delivery of cloud automation across infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, IaC, self‑service, auto‑scaling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Assist in implementing infrastructure‑as‑code and policy‑as‑code solutions in line with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure solutions meet quality, security, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers within the team.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and health; troubleshoot and resolve issues in line with DevOps practices.
