We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English and Maths teacher to join our team at BT Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students and will be expected to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
- Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/carers.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal development of all students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the English and Maths curricula.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in English and Maths education and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) in English and Maths.
- Experience teaching English and Maths to Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 students.
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English and Maths.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
