Receptionist/Administrator – Maternity Cover
- Based: Kenmuir Sawmills, Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL
- 40 hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am to 5pm

Our Dalbeattie site has an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Receptionist/Administrator. Reporting to the Mills Finance Manager, you will be a key member of our team, supporting the operation of the sawmill by providing general administrative support.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Receptionist/Administrator include:
- Answering calls and assisting with all visitors on site.Processing Sales & Purchase Invoices.
- Maintaining accurate records for site staff within the employee database and personnel files.
- Administration of employment paperwork.
- Ordering and maintaining stationary levels.
- Organisation of incoming and outgoing post, ensuring incoming post is directed to the named receiver and outgoing post is franked and ready for collection.
- Assisting with financial duties such as cash sale payments; processing of purchase, co-product and haulage invoices; and running sales invoices.
About you:
Already an experienced administrator with the ability to prioritise and manage a challenging workload, you’ll also need to be highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated, with an excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for the role.
