Overview
Sideloader Operator, Carlisle, CA6 4BA. Rotating Shift Pattern (40 hrs per week). Full-time / permanent.
Responsibilities
- Movement of sawn timber from sawmill to stock locations around the site.
- Operation of a Side Loader and other mobile plant vehicles.
- Scanning timber packs to determine stock and log positions.
About you
We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who are focussed and have the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
- Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
- Experience operating mobile plant would be preferred but is not essential as full training is provided.
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
- Full driving license.
