BSW Timber Solutions is a leading timber manufacturer and distributor to the DIY and Builders\' Merchant markets. We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our high-performing Stoke operation as a Senior Team Leader. This is a pivotal role where you’ll help drive daily performance, support your team’s development, and contribute to continuous improvement across the shift.
Responsibilities
- Leading an efficient operation that consistently meets Key Performance Indicators
- Supporting and motivating team members to achieve their objectives
- Coaching and developing colleagues, including assisting with training
- Driving compliance and identifying opportunities to improve processes
- Will work independently and collaboratively, using your initiative to make confident decisions that keep things moving forward
Qualifications
- We are looking for someone with previous team leading and/or management experience who wants to develop and progress within the business
- Exceptional people leader with experience of running an operational shift within a busy warehouse environment
- Functional knowledge of SAP is advantageous and good skills on Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word and Outlook will be essential
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
