Production Operators
- Based Newbridge-on-Wye

We are looking to recruit a Production Operator to join our workforce across our BSW Timber site in Newbridge. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products – on time and to specification.
Specifically, some responsibilities of a Production Operator may include:
- Operation of state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery.
- Manual handling of timber.
- Working towards set production targets.
- Operation of mobile plant vehicles.
- Upholding the appropriate health And Safety practices.
About you:
Ideally, we’re seeking motivated and hardworking individuals who are quality focused and who understand the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety.
- Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous.
