Hours: Monday Friday, 08:00 -17:00Salary: Competitive The Role We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our pallet manufacturing operations at our Rainham site.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities, managing teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational performance.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily output and delivery targets.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and promote a strong safety culture.
Monitor production schedules and resolve operational issues.
Maintain high quality standards and ensure products meet customer specifications.
Coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve high performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Support recruitment, training, and performance management activities.
Previous supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing environment.
A proven track record of improving productivity through KPI management.
A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
Knowledge of IOSH/NEBOSH principles, ISO 14001, and manufacturing processes (desirable).
