- Assistant Forest Manager
- Location – Central Scotland, Perth Office

We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key member of our Central Scotland forestry team based in our Perth Office, in the role of Assistant Forest Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering a professional, high-quality woodland management service to our existing clients together with other ongoing forestry related opportunities including woodland creation.
The role includes building sound client relationships, preparation of client estimates, production of reports, implementation and control of work programmes and grant applications, initially in support of more senior Forest Managers.
About You
As a professional, with a background in forestry (or another related sector), you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable. In addition, you’ll have:
- Relevant forestry and academic qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
- Strong client relationship management and team working skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and ideally at least 1 to 2 years’ management, supervisory or practical experience.
- Experience of supervising and managing contractors.
- Good knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard and UKWAS.
- Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body is desirable, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence
