Your role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join the team at our Grimsby site. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the wider operational and production teams, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day manufacturing activities.
As a key member of the team, you will take responsibility for a range of office-based activities including order processing, site procurement, reception duties, and providing administrative support during managers’ meetings. A key part of the role will involve using ERP systems to process and maintain information relating to customer orders, purchasing, stock and manufacturing activities. You will be expected to ensure that system data is accurate and up to date, while following established processes and procedures.
About You: We are looking for someone who is organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in supporting a busy manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good IT skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A confident and professional telephone manner with good written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
