We are looking for a motivated individual who has the ability to deliver flexible solutions within a fast‑paced supply chain. As an experienced planner, supply chain professional or with transferable skills, you will be willing to undertake necessary training to fulfil the role.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the operational needs of the business to the site management and supervisory teams on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Determine manpower and equipment needed to cover production demand.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Coordinate the production workflow.
- Plan and manage fuel requirements to support machinery operation.
- Organise and oversee machine movements to designated sites, ensuring timely deployment and operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate production performance and update KPI's accordingly.
- Manage maintenance schedules and planned downtime along with production requirements.
- Identify any potential delays or problems in the production process and devise ways to overcome them.
- Act on reported equipment defects and breakdowns.
- Report on inventory management.
- Help ensure compliance with industry safety and production standards.
Qualifications
- Good computer skills across all Microsoft programmes.
- A keen interest in new software developments and digital tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- The ability to influence successful business outcomes and build relationships.
- The ability to organise, problem solve and multitask whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Be able to deliver to deadlines.
- Proactive attitude to promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- The successful candidate must have a full driving licence.
Full‑time / Permanent Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
