A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an FLT Driver to join our Manufacturing team at our Burntisland site. This role will be responsible for operating industrial forklifts trucks to move both raw materials and finished products around the site, including the loading and unloading of vehicles and kilns (if required). You will operate your forklift truck in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
You will be responsible for completing daily pre-operating checks before using your truck, recording and reporting all faults on a Defect Report and ensuring timber, pallets and packaging are available as required to maximise production and ensure quality and customer standards are met.
You will play a key role in representing the company professionally when dealing with all internal and external stakeholders and treat all fellow colleagues with respect, behaving in a way that allows all staff to complete their work without disruption. As an experienced FLT Driver, you will hold a current counterbalance FLT licence or site-specific counterbalance licence, demonstrate a high level of Health and Safety awareness whilst having great attention to detail. A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills are key to success.
