Our client is an established Building Services consultancy. They require the support of a 2D Mechanical CAD draughtsman to work with an HVAC / mechanical department. The purpose is to support the engineering team by producing new and revising 2D HVAC / Mechanical and Plumbing Health engineering mark-ups and drawings, using AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and amend basic 2D MEP drawings and layouts.
  • Update drawings based on engineer and project team feedback.
  • Prepare plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
  • Maintain drawing records and file management systems.
  • Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and issued on time.
  • Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.

Skills & Experience

  • AutoCAD skills and experience producing 2D drawings.
  • Understanding of construction or building services drawings.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
  • Able to work unsupervised.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline preferred.
