Key Responsibilities: Develop fire engineering strategies in accordance with BS 9999, BS 7974, and Approved Document B. Design and assess active fire protection systems such as sprinklers, water mist, and gaseous suppression. Conduct fire risk assessments and offer expert fire safety advice. Assist with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling and fire simulations as needed. Collaborate with clients, architects, and regulatory bodies to ensure project compliance. Prepare technical reports, fire safety statements, and evacuation strategies. Support senior engineers in project execution and mentor junior team members. Ideal Candidate Profile: Degree in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (BEng/MEng/MSc). 2-5 years of experience in fire engineering consultancy or a similar role.
