We are seeking an experienced and proactive MEP Revit Technician to join our Building Services team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, coordination, and delivery of BIM models and technical drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health (MEP) systems across a diverse portfolio of projects.
- Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health installations using Autodesk Revit.
- Develop and maintain coordinated MEP models through all project stages, from concept design to construction and handover.
- Assist engineers with the preparation of technical drawings, schematics, layouts, schedules, and design documentation.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and undertake clash detection exercises using Navisworks and other BIM software.
- Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Employer's Information Requirements (EIRs), and company standards.
- Coordinate effectively with architectural, structural, and other design disciplines to resolve design clashes and improve project delivery.
- Maintain BIM libraries, templates, families, and standards.
- Support the production of construction, tender, and as-built information.
- Ensure all project information is issued accurately and in accordance with project deadlines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and digital delivery methodologies.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Revit Technician within an MEP or Building Services environment.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and public health building services systems.
- Experience producing coordinated BIM models and construction drawings.
- Familiarity with BIM Level 2 processes and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of drawing production, model management, and document control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
