Our client is an established Building Services consultancy.
They require the support of a 2d Mechanical CAD draughtsman to work with an HVAC / mechanical department.
The purpose is to support the engineering team by producing new and revising 2d HVAC / Mechanical and Plumbing Health engineering mark-ups and drawings, using Auto CAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and amend basic 2D MEP drawings and layouts.
- Update drawings based on engineer and project team feedback
- Prepare plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
- Maintain drawing records and file management systems.
- Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and issued on time.
- Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.
Skills & Experience
- Auto CAD skills and experience producing 2D drawings.
- Understanding of construction or building services drawings.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
- Able to work unsupervised.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline preferred.
- Good working knowledge of Auto CAD.
