We are looking for an experienced MEP BIM Manager to lead our BIM team and oversee the delivery of BIM services across a diverse portfolio of projects. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing BIM standards, supporting project delivery, and developing a high-performing team of BIM professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of BIM Coordinators, Technicians, and Modellers.
- Oversee the delivery of BIM on multiple MEP projects from design through to construction and handover.
- Ensure all BIM deliverables meet client requirements, project standards, and ISO 19650 compliance.
- Manage model coordination, clash detection, and quality assurance processes.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and external consultants.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and team workloads to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related matters.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in BIM processes and digital delivery.
About You
- Proven experience in an MEP BIM Manager, BIM Lead, or Senior BIM Coordinator role.
- Strong background in MEP design and BIM project delivery across a range of sectors.
- Demonstrable experience managing and developing BIM teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, and associated BIM software.
- Excellent understanding of BIM standards, including ISO 19650.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and project teams.
- Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
Desirable
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, healthcare, infrastructure, or data centre projects.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, automation tools, and digital engineering processes.
- Relevant BIM, engineering, or construction-related qualifications.
