My client is a well-established engineering consultancy who is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its building services team. You will be responsible for delivering mechanical building services design across a range of projects. The company is looking for someone who can be trusted with projects, manage their workload, and drive designs forward with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical design of building services systems including HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic water services
- Managing and delivering projects or project packages from concept through to completion
- Liaising with clients, architects, and other design team members
- Attending design meetings and site visits where required
- Coordinating with electrical and other disciplines to ensure integrated design delivery
- Experience in mechanical building services design
- Ability to run projects or work packages independently
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and building services design principles
- Experience with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp, or similar
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
