Your Opportunity
Are you looking to start your career as an Electrical Engineer within a multi-award-winning property and construction consultancy? This is an exciting opportunity to join a Building Services team in Cardiff as part of a structured graduate programme starting in October 2026. You will work on a wide variety of projects in a collaborative team environment, gaining hands-on experience and early exposure to clients. This is a genuine role within a live project team, where your contribution will be valued from day one. Projects range from large-scale residential, commercial, and industrial developments to smaller schemes, working with clients across sectors including education, healthcare, manufacturing, and development.
The Role
- Work as part of a design team delivering detailed electrical building services designs
- Use CAD and BIM (Revit) software to develop system layouts and technical drawings
- Design site-specific electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, surveyors, and contractors
- Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions
- Ensure designs meet regulatory and health & safety requirements
- Support sustainable design by advising on energy use and carbon reduction
About You
- Essential: Degree or higher qualification in Building Services Engineering (or similar)
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- Strong interest in the built environment and engineering design
- Willingness to learn and develop within a collaborative team
