My client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join their growing building services engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up drawings and project files to support engineers and design teams
- Producing and updating Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health (MEP) drawings from engineer mark-ups, including plans, layouts, elevations and schematics
- Assisting with the development of drawing blocks and templates
- Supporting Revit modelling and gaining hands-on experience with BIM on live projects
- Managing document control and maintaining organised project records
- Working closely with the BIM Manager and wider design team to meet daily tasks and deadlines
Experience & Qualifications:
- GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths and Science (Grade B preferred)
- Design & Technology qualification advantageous
- Some experience or strong interest in AutoCAD or similar design software (full training provided)
- Genuine interest in construction, design and digital design technology
- Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
- Well organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
