As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will work collaboratively within the project team to support the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical building services systems. Under the supervision of senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery while developing your technical knowledge, communication skills, and professional confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare electrical design calculations and technical drawings under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
- Support Senior Engineers in delivering projects from concept through to completion.
- Assist with coordinating designs, identifying risks, options, and opportunities, and contributing to technical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and other construction professionals.
- Attend design team and client meetings alongside senior engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and follow the Integrated Management System.
- Take ownership of individual tasks assigned by senior team members and manage time effectively.
- Follow instructions while confidently asking questions to build understanding and technical competence.
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with CIBSE requirements.
- Work towards Chartered Engineer status, supported by a dedicated mentor and experienced colleagues.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Building Services Engineering, or
- BTEC HNC in Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
