We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established and growing MEP consultancy team. The team is experiencing a strong forward workload across sectors including further and higher education, healthcare, mixed-use developments, leisure, residential, and hotel projects. The Role
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems across multiple projects. You will work alongside senior engineers and other disciplines, contributing to all stages of the design process while continuing to build your experience and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services systems, including:
- Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC)
- Domestic water services and drainage
- Low carbon and energy-efficient systems
About You
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience within a Building Services / MEP consultancy environment
- Good technical understanding of mechanical building services design
- Familiarity with industry software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status (desirable)
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and progress
