About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior//Associate Acoustic Engineer with a focus on building acoustics to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career, with increasing responsibility for project delivery, client engagement, and technical leadership.
You will become part of a collaborative team working on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including healthcare, hospitality, commercial workplaces, entertainment venues, education, and other complex developments.
Key responsibilities include
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to develop innovative acoustic design solutions.
- Leading small to medium-sized projects from concept through to completion, with support from senior colleagues where required.
- Undertaking acoustic surveys and measurements across a variety of environments using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
- Carrying out acoustic modelling, calculations, and analysis using specialist software to support design decisions.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams throughout the design process.
- Producing clear and practical technical reports, presentations, sketches, and other project documentation.
- Contributing to technical innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have
- A strong background in building acoustics, with experience delivering projects through multiple design stages.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Acoustic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with a degree in another relevant subject supported by an Institute of Acoustics Diploma will also be considered.
