Job Description
Our client is an established Building Services consultancy.
They require the support of a 2d Mechanical CAD draughtsman to work with an HVAC / mechanical department.
The purpose is to support the engineering team by producing new and revising 2d HVAC / Mechanical and Plumbing Health engineering mark-ups and drawings, using Auto CAD.
Key Responsibilities Create and amend basic 2D MEP drawings and layouts.
Update drawings based on engineer and project team feedback Prepare plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
Maintain drawing records and file management systems.
Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and issued on time.
Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings.
Skills & Experience Auto CAD skills and experience producing 2D drawings.
Understanding of construction or building services drawings.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines.
Able to work unsupervised.
Qualifications Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline preferred.
Good working knowledge of Auto CAD.
Personal Attributes Reliable and organised.
Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
