About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-driven Hire Manager to take ownership of our tool hire department. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering excellent customer service, and identifying opportunities to grow the business. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, sales, or customer relationship experience—no previous tool hire experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the overall performance of the tool hire department, ensuring efficiency and high service standards.
Engage with customers, providing advice on hire solutions to meet their needs.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships,client hospitality, build supplier relationships, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and grow the department.
Drive sales by promoting hire services and ensuring customers receive the best possible experience.
Manage equipment availability, ensuring all tools are well-maintained and ready for hire.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed within the department.
Provide guidance and support to team members where needed.
Involvement with our Charity partners .

Experience in Management(but not essential), sales, or customer-facing role with a focus on building relationships.
A confident and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
A commercial mindset with a drive to meet targets and grow the business.
