Role Overview

As Hire Manager, you will supervise and coordinate all colleagues in the Hire Department, ensuring a quality service to customers, driving sales, and maintaining tools and plant to health & safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hire department staff.
• Develop and execute a sales action plan to achieve AOP.
• Ensure effective utilisation of all resources.
• Maintain plant and tools in perfect working order with correct documentation.
• Provide quality customer service and lead the team to exceed sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in sales, preferably in the hire industry or a similar mechanical/electrical equipment environment.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Willingness to undertake a 12‑month training programme, with a professional qualification awarded upon successful completion.
