We are looking for an experienced Groundworks Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a £3 million groundworks project in Windlesham, working directly alongside a Tier 1 contractor. The successful candidate will need strong site management experience and the ability to organise labour, materials and works efficiently while maintaining high standards throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising and managing groundworks teams on site
- Effectively allocating labour and putting men to work each day
- Planning upcoming works and ensuring the correct resources are available
- Ordering materials well in advance to prevent delays
- Liaising professionally with the client and main contractor
- Coordinating subcontractors, plant and deliveries
