What’s it like to be a BSS Driver / Warehouse Assistant?

In this dual-purpose role, you are much more than just a driver—you are the face of our business.

You’ll need a flexible, "can-do" attitude to balance life on the road with the fast-paced environment of our branch warehouse.

No two days are ever the same, and your character and enthusiasm are what will make the difference to our customers.

• On the

Road: You’ll be responsible for loading your vehicle and delivering essential goods to a variety of sites, ensuring our customers receive a fantastic service every time you pull up.

• In the

Warehouse: When you’re not behind the wheel, you’ll be in the thick of the action - unloading supplier deliveries, picking orders with precision, and supporting the team on the trade counter.

• Customer Champion: Whether you’re on-site or in-branch, you’ll represent BSS with professionalism, delivering more than just products, but a service they can rely on.
• Safety First: You’ll champion our non‑negotiable safety culture, ensuring your vehicle is checked and your warehouse tasks are completed with the highest regard for wellbeing.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for an energetic team player who thrives on variety.

While your driving skills are essential, your personality and professional manner are what will truly set you apart.

• The Essentials: You must hold a clean driving licence along with a valid CPC qualification.
• Experience: Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in multi‑drop deliveries and be comfortable navigating different locations.
• Adaptability: You enjoy working with people and are happy to switch gears from driving to warehouse duties at a moment's notice.
• Organisation: You take pride in your work, ensuring orders are picked accurately and deliveries are made safely and on time.
• Safety Mindset: You hold yourself and your colleagues to high safety standards, always.
