Position Summary
The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role serving as a pipeline for future career growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. This role involves assessing customer needs, recommending products/services, performing entry-level vehicle services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through thorough and timely service completion. Successful individuals will learn all aspects of store operations and flex between customer interaction and vehicle service tasks.

Pay Range: $17.05 – $25.52

Responsibilities

  • Customer service, sales, issue resolution – 75%.
  • Basic vehicle service tasks (oil, tires, fluids) – 25%.
  • Store operations, opening/closing, inventory, displays as needed.

Growth and Career Development

  • May assist or act as Manager-On-Duty to support development.
  • Learn all store operations and flex between front/back shop tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid automobile driver\’s license.
  • Customer service and growth mindset.
  • Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle services.
  • Ability to operate store systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year degree or equivalent training/certification demonstrating growth mindset.
  • Previous retail sales experience.
  • Automotive experience a plus.
  • Management/supervisory experience a plus.
