Location: London W2 (across two sites)

Salary: Circa £14.50-£15 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing temporary

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our client's GP practice team across 2 sites in West London (W2). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HCA to work in a dynamic primary care environment, delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a range of clinical services to our patient population, working autonomously within your scope of practice while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform venepuncture and phlebotomy services to a high standard
  • Conduct and interpret ECGs
  • Deliver NHS Health Checks, including health assessments and lifestyle advice
  • Provide chronic disease management support, including monitoring patients with long-term conditions
  • Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations)
  • Support diabetic clinics and other disease-specific clinics
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
