We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Reception Manager to be based at our client's Alderley Edge clinic in Manchester. In this pivotal front-of-house leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day reception function and ensure the smooth running of the clinic's patient experience.

About the Role
Based at the Alderley Edge clinic, you will lead the reception team and act as the central point of contact for front-of-house operations. You will ensure consistency in service delivery, patient experience, and administrative processes throughout the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the reception function at the Alderley Edge clinic
- Ensure a seamless, high-end client journey from initial enquiry through to post-appointment follow-up
- Oversee appointment scheduling, diary management, and clinic utilisation using booking systems (Zenoti preferred)
- Monitor front-of-house KPIs including conversion rates, rebooking, and client satisfaction
- Handle client enquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally, maintaining brand standards
- Support revenue growth through effective booking management, upselling, and service optimisation
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure GDPR compliance
- Manage stock coordination and reception-level retail processes
- Foster a positive, professional, and motivated reception team culture
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Reception Manager or Senior Front-of-House role within a clinic, beauty, spa, or premium service environment
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring reception teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished and professional manner
- Confident handling high-net-worth or premium clientele
- Experience with booking systems (Zenoti advantageous)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting revenue and KPI performance
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Working Hours
Full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week), across five days including one weekend day. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975 and will require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
