Job Description

Job Title: Fertility Nurse

Location: Central London

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

A Premier Fertility Clinic in Central London is seeking a dedicated and compassionate female fertility nurse to join their expert team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to patients throughout their fertility journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Assist with ultrasounds and embryo transfers
  • Educate patients on treatment options and medication administration
  • Provide emotional support and counselling to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care
  • Monitor treatment cycles and adjust protocols as needed
  • Coordinate care with other departments, including finance and prior authorisation teams
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate test results
  • Assist in surgical procedures within the theatre environment

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in reproductive health or related field
  • Strong understanding of reproductive biology and fertility treatments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certification in fertility nursing or assisted conception
  • Additional training or certification in theatre nursing
