We are seeking an experienced and proactive Area Manager to be based at our client's Alderley Edge clinic in Manchester. In this senior role you will take overall responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the Alderley Edge site while providing remote oversight for clinics in Glasgow, Cheltenham, and Harrogate. Salary & Bonus

  • Base salary: £38,000 per annum
  • Annual performance bonus of £2,000-£3,000 for achieving 10% sales growth on the previous year

About the Role

Based at our Alderley Edge clinic, you will serve as the primary point of contact for teams across multiple locations. While day-to-day travel to the other sites is not required, you will provide remote managerial guidance and escalation support to the Glasgow, Cheltenham, and Harrogate clinics, ensuring consistent standards of service and performance across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Alderley Edge clinic.
  • Act as the first point of contact for remote clinics in Glasgow, Cheltenham, and Harrogate, providing guidance and support as required.
  • Monitor and drive revenue performance, setting and tracking KPIs across all sites.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop clinic teams to deliver an outstanding client experience, particularly to high-net-worth individuals.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory across all sites.
  • Utilise booking software (Zenoti preferred) to manage appointments, analyse performance data, and optimise clinic operations.
  • Handle client communications professionally, maintaining the brand's high standards of engagement over the phone and in person.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, ensuring staff are well-trained and motivated.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to implement strategic plans and contribute to business growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role within a beauty, spa, clinic, or similar service environment (including premium hair salon chains).
  • Proven track record of managing teams and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience with booking and scheduling software; knowledge of Zenoti is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent client-facing and telephone manner, with the ability to communicate confidently with a discerning clientele.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of stock control and retail management.
  • Proficiency in KPI reporting and using data to inform decision-making.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to hit the ground running.

Working Hours

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours per week, spread over five days, including one day at the weekend.
