We are looking for a Domiciliary Care Manager to work with the provider in building up a service in the Gainsborough area and surrounding villages. At Bspoke Social Care, we believe support should be as individual as the people we serve. The Domiciliary Care Manager plays a central role in delivering this vision — leading a service that is flexible, person‐centred, and built around genuine relationships. You will oversee the safe, effective, and compassionate delivery of home‐based care, ensuring every individual receives support that is tailored, respectful, and empowering. This role blends operational leadership with a deep commitment to Bspoke Social Care's values: dignity, independence, and personalised care.

Responsibilities

  • Service Leadership & Quality: Lead the day‐to‐day operations of Bspoke Social Care's domiciliary care service, ensuring high standards of personalised support. Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and uphold Bspoke Social Care's internal quality frameworks. Drive continuous improvement through audits, feedback, and reflective practice. Manage safeguarding concerns with professionalism, transparency, and sensitivity.
  • Person‐Centred Care Delivery: Complete assessments and create bespoke care plans that reflect every individual's goals, preferences, and strengths. Ensure care packages are delivered consistently and in line with Bspoke Social Care's commitment to flexible, tailored support. Build strong relationships with families, health professionals, and community partners.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and mentor care staff who embody Bspoke Social Care's values. Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance management. Create supportive rotas that balance service needs with staff wellbeing and continuity of care.
  • Operational & Business Management: Manage budgets, resources, and scheduling to ensure efficient and sustainable service delivery. Support service growth by nurturing positive relationships with commissioners, referrers, and community networks. Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and reporting systems.
  • Safeguarding & Risk Management: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (or support the DSL) for the service. Ensure risk assessments are robust, personalised, and regularly reviewed. Promote a culture of safety, openness, and accountability across the team.

Skills & Experience

  • Essential: Proven experience in a senior role within domiciliary or social care. Strong understanding of CQC requirements and regulatory compliance. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. A compassionate, person‐centred approach aligned with Bspoke's ethos. Ability to work under pressure and make confident, informed decisions.
  • Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Experience with business development or service expansion. Familiarity with local authority commissioning and community‐based support models.

Personal Qualities

  • Warm, approachable, and committed to building meaningful relationships.
  • A confident leader who inspires trust and motivates others.
  • Creative problem‐solver with a proactive, can‐do mindset.
  • Passionate about enabling people to live independently and with dignity.

Purpose of the Role

As a Domiciliary Care Manager at Bspoke Social Care, your purpose is simple but powerful: to ensure every person receives support that is truly tailored to them — and that every member of the team feels valued, supported, and proud of the difference they make.
