Partnering closely with leaders across the business, you will champion strategic change initiatives and future-focused workforce design. This includes identifying future capability needs, mapping robust internal succession pathways, and supporting structural developments to optimise our teams. You will ensure our people processes reflect our values while driving long-term resilience and capability. /p p Alongside these project initiatives, the role oversees talent acquisition - attracting, assessing, and hiring high-calibre candidates who align with our goals and culture, ensuring a seamless journey and a brilliant candidate experience throughout. /p p br /p p This role will be around 40% talent acquisition and 60% people / organisational change projects /p p br /p p strong Key Accountabilities /strong /p p br /p p strong Strategic Change People Projects /strong /p ul li Lead and support key People projects, managing scope, timelines, and implementation to drive operational efficiency and improve colleague experience. /li li Partner with leadership to design and execute strategic change initiatives, ensuring workforce structures remain agile, efficient, and aligned with business goals. /li li Facilitate smooth organisational transitions, supporting leaders and teams through restructures, consultation processes and change with empathy, fairness, and clarity. /li /ul p br /p p strong Workforce Planning Succession /strong /p ul li Collaborate with People Partners and business leaders to identify critical roles, key succession risks, and future capability needs. /li li Map internal talent and career pathways to build robust succession frameworks, talent matrices, and internal mobility opportunities. /li li Inform workforce decision-making by sharing market insights, capability trends, and talent development best practices with hiring managers. /li /ul p br /p p strong Talent Acquisition Delivery /strong /p ul li Build proactive talent pipelines (both internal and external) and design targeted sourcing strategies to meet current and future resourcing needs. /li li Deliver end-to-end recruitment from requisition to onboarding, ensuring cost-conscious, high-calibre hiring that aligns with company culture. /li li Champion our employer brand, leveraging digital channels, job adverts, and industry networks to promote the organisation as an employer of choice. /li /ul p br /p p strong Candidate Colleague Experience /strong /p ul li Deliver a seamless candidate journey, ensuring a welcoming, communicative, and values-led interview experience for all applicants. /li li Support engagement and culture initiatives, enhancing feedback loops and colleague connection, particularly during periods of organisational change. /li li Drive Group-wide Diversity, Equity Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace where diverse perspectives are valued. /li /ul p br /p p strong Governance Analytics /strong /p ul li Guide People Operations to ensure all recruitment, project outputs, and organisational change records remain accurate and legally compliant. /li li Track, analyse, and report on key People metrics across talent delivery and project outcomes to inform senior leadership and measure success. /li /ul p br /p p strong Skills And Knowledge /strong /p p strong Essential /strong /p ul li Practical knowledge of people change principles, including hands-on understanding of formal consultation processes, with the ability to support leaders through team transitions, process improvements, and structural changes. /li li Strong hands-on sourcing skills, including direct search, networking, ATS management, and social media recruiting. /li li Excellent relationship-building skills with a collaborative, client-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate and colleague experience. /li li Solid understanding of UK employment law, GDPR, statutory change/consultation guidelines, and recruitment compliance, with the ability to maintain accurate records and fair processes. /li li Proficient in using ATS platforms, HR systems, and MS Office tools (Excel/PowerPoint), with the ability to track, analyse, and report on key People metrics. /li li Good understanding of Diversity, Equity Inclusion (DEI) best practices and how to embed them across candidate and employee journeys. /li /ul p br /p p strong Desirable /strong /p ul li Familiarity with succession planning models, talent mapping, and internal mobility frameworks. /li li Experience leveraging employer branding and marketing approaches to enhance candidate attraction and engagement. /li li Understanding of shifting skill demands and trends within regulated sectors (e.g. Financial Services). /li /ul p br /p p strong Experience and Qualifications /strong /p p br /p p strong Essential /strong /p ul li Proven track record in People Initiatives, including consultation processes, restructures and strategic people projects. /li li Solid experience managing end-to-end direct recruitment pipelines, head hunting and candidate journeys across varied roles. /li /ul p br /p p strong Desirable /strong /p ul li Proven experience designing and embedding internal succession planning and talent matrix frameworks. /li li Proven experience working within the Financial Sector, with a solid understanding of recruiting and managing change within a highly regulated environment. /li li CIPD Level 5
