We are looking for a motivated Periodontist to join our friendly and supportive team at St. John’s Dental Practice, a well-established practice in Oxford city centre. This is an excellent opportunity to take over an existing and well-established periodontal list within a modern, fully digitalised practice with a strong referral base.
Days: 1 day per week (ideally Tuesday, but this can be discussed)

Role Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases using both non-surgical and surgical approaches
- Perform procedures including periodontal surgery and tissue grafting
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments
- Utilise dental imaging technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
- Educate patients on periodontal health, prevention, and post-treatment maintenance
- Work collaboratively with general dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- GDC registration with recognised training or special interest in Periodontology OR proof of enrollment in the MsC
- Experience in periodontal therapy and surgical procedures
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary dental team
- Familiarity with digital dental systems and clinical documentation
