The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.

We are looking for a motivated Periodontist to join our friendly and supportive team at St. John’s Dental Practice, a well-established practice in Oxford city centre. This is an excellent opportunity to take over an existing and well-established periodontal list within a modern, fully digitalised practice with a strong referral base.

Days: 1 day per week (ideally Tuesday, but this can be discussed)

Role Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases using both non-surgical and surgical approaches
  • Perform procedures including periodontal surgery and tissue grafting
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on comprehensive patient assessments
  • Utilise dental imaging technology to support diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
  • Educate patients on periodontal health, prevention, and post-treatment maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with general dentists to coordinate comprehensive patient care

Requirements

  • GDC registration with recognised training or special interest in Periodontology OR proof of enrollment in the MsC
  • Experience in periodontal therapy and surgical procedures
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary dental team
  • Familiarity with digital dental systems and clinical documentation
