Join BSoft Solutions as a full‑time Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to support elderly and dementia residents in our night shift team. The role is 38.5 hours per week with a flexible rota.
Responsibilities
- Promote independence and improve mobility of residents.
- Lead, motivate and mentor staff, providing guidance, training and development for safe work practices.
- Address physical and mental health needs of elderly and dementia patients.
- Establish rapport with residents and relevant parties to identify care requirements.
- Carry out regular checks on residents as directed by the Home Manager.
- Maintain accurate, individualised Care Plans in line with NMC guidelines and company policy.
- Administer prescribed medicines and document administration following company procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Ensure correct ordering, storage, and administration of drugs in line with clients’ requirements and pharmaceutical agencies.
- Provide concise handover reports to all relevant staff at shift end.
- Adhere to all NMC guidelines and regulations.
- Support the quality culture of Handsale Care Group by adhering to QA systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Qualified and registered with the NMC as an RGN or RMN.
- Experience in an elderly and dementia care environment preferred.
- Proficient in care planning and delivery.
- Flexible shift pattern availability.
- Valid CRB/DBS check.
