We are currently seeking full‑time Registered Nurses (RGN/RMN) to join our team at BSoft Solutions. This FT role involves 38.5 hours per week with a rotating rota requiring flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Promote independence & improve mobility in elderly & dementia residents
- Lead, motivate & mentor staff, delivering guidance, training & development to ensure safe work practices
- Focus on physical ailments associated with aging and mental impairments
- Identify client care requirements through personal rapport with residents & relevant persons
- Carry out regular checks on clients at intervals determined by the Home Manager
- Ensure client care plans are completed, maintained & in accordance with NMC guidelines & company policy
- Administer prescribed medicines & document the same in accordance with company procedure & NMC guidelines
- Ensure correct ordering, storage & administration of drugs in accordance with client requirements, medical & pharmaceutical agencies
- Maintain accurate records & ensure each client within the care home has an individualised care plan & care plans are reviewed
- Provide a clear & concise handover report to all relevant staff at the end of each shift
- Adhere to all appropriate NMC guidelines & regulations
- Particip, promote & engender the quality culture of Handsale Care Group by adhering to Quality Assurance Systems
Qualifications
- Qualified & registered with the NMC as (RGN/RMN)
- Ideally experienced in an elderly & dementia care environment
- Confident in all areas of care planning & delivery
- Able to work a flexible shift pattern
- Satisfactory CRB/DBS checks
