Woodlawn House is a purpose-built Short Breaks Nursing facility registered with RQIA with 7 ensuite bedrooms. Hillview is a single bedded building on the same site, supporting Service Users who require their short break in a more bespoke environment. Woodlawn House & Hillview are set within their own private site, on the Quarry Lane in Dungannon, within easy reach of local shopping, leisure and nature parks.

Woodlawn House & Hillview provides short breaks to Service Users who have a diagnosed Learning Disability, aged 18 years and over whose assessed needs are unable to be met in any other contracted short break service and it is deemed that Woodlawn House or Hillview can safely and appropriately meet their assessed needs. Service Users may require constant monitoring and intervention by a registered Nurse, supported by the Senior Nursing Assistant due to their complex health needs. Service Users may present with behaviours which challenge, that require redirection intervention and observation to be safely managed.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for Service Users, through previous roles in Health & Social Care. Staff will provide support to maximise each individual Service User’s strengths, respecting the varying needs and abilities of each, promoting independence and wellbeing. Staff will create a caring and compassionate environment, treating service users with respect and dignity.
