The ANNP will use their expert knowledge and complex decision making, guided by The NMC Code in unpredictable situations. The ANNP is accountable for the total episode of care for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed needs, shaped by the context of clinical practice. The ANNP must demonstrate competence across the four key areas of the Advanced Nursing Practice Framework, and work at an advanced level applying competence within their scope of practice.
