The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.
To meet the overall mission of the organisation the post holder will:
- Be a highly experienced resource providing clinical expertise in care, advice and support within the specialist area of Foot and Ankle Surgery, post-operative treatment and management.
- Lead and deliver Nurse Led clinics.
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a seamless, coordinated approach to person-centred care, across the clinical pathway, and timely onward referral to other professionals and agencies as appropriate.
- Proactively advance the modernisation agenda of Foot and Ankle Surgery for patients and the development of the nursing service to achieve person centred care.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Foot and Ankle multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to patients.
- Deliver specialist nursing care and treatments, education and counselling to patients/families/carers.
- Participate in the provision of expert advice in developing, implementing policies, procedures and protocols that meet national, regional and local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the delivery and promotion of evidence-based practice in line with local and national guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Part 1 Level 1 on the live NMC Register
- 2 years’ experience as a Band 6 within a Trauma or Orthopaedic environment.
- Training in advanced communication skills.
