We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Senior to join our finance team.

Duties

  • Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and efficiency
  • Utilise accounting software Sage and Xero,
  • Assist with audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors
  • Mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development
  • Support financial management activities by monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports

Experience

  • Proven experience working with accounting Software XERO for 4 years or more.
  • Strong background in financial services or related industries demonstrating comprehensive financial management skills
  • Familiarity with financial accounting principles and practices aligned with industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to handle accounts payable processes efficiently and accurately
  • Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of internal controls, audit procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Related Administrative work
  • Liaise with payroll, Admin and HR Team
