We are currently recruiting for a Young People’s Support Worker – Semi-Independent Living to join our team in Croydon and Sutton area. As a Young People’s Support Worker, you will be working within a semi-independent unit, supporting young people to develop the skills and confidence needed to live independently.
This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working in residential settings and are passionate about making a positive impact in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Support young people with daily routines and activities.
- Promote independence and life skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care.
- Build positive and trusting relationships.
- Encourage education, training, and employment.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
- Experience working with children/young people in a residential setting (essential).
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
- Flexible, reliable, and committed.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Competitive hourly rate (£13.00 – £13.50).
