Family Assessment Workers (Residential Setting) – Lambeth

BSN&Co are recruiting Family Assessment Workers to support our client and their families within a residential assessment setting.

Location: Lambeth

Pay Rate: Β£12.21 per hour

Hours: Various shifts including days, nights, weekends and sleep ins

About the Role:

As a Family Assessment Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding families within a residential environment. You’ll be responsible for observing, recording, and assisting families through assessment processes, contributing to vital decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and monitor families within a residential setting

Observe parent-child interactions and maintain accurate records

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to contribute to assessment reports

Ensure a safe, supportive, and professional environment for families

Adhere to safeguarding procedures and professional boundaries

Requirements for this role:

Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar role (e.g., residential family support, social care, or assessment setting)

DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Strong observational and communication skills

Ability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
