We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, confident and passionate hands-on nursery manager to take ownership leading a busy well-established outdoor nursery that puts nature, wellbeing, and child-led learning and growth first.
The Outdoor Nursery Manager Role
- Day-to-day leadership and management of the outdoor nursery
- Managing, mentoring, and motivating the nursery team
- Ensuring high-quality EYFS delivery within an outdoor nursery setting
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted compliance
- Building positive relationships with parents and carers
- Supporting staff development, retention, and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For in an Outdoor Nursery Manager
- Previous experience as a nursery manager in a busy setting
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- A genuine passion for outdoor learning and outdoor nursery practice
- Confident leadership and excellent organisational skills
- A driver (this is essential)
