DescriptionWere looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, keeping things running smoothly, and playing an important role in helping patients access care. This role focuses on accurate registrations, seamless processes, and ensuring every patient feels supported and connected to our care. As an Admin Assistant in our central operations hub, you\’ll guide patients through the registration journey, answer queries with care, and help ensure people stay registered with us. You\’ll be trusted to follow processes precisely, manage a steady flow of calls and forms, and contribute to the smooth growth of our practice community. You\’ll also play a part in patient retention, making supportive outbound calls to patients at risk of leaving and helping them stay connected to our services where possible. This role goes beyond routine admin; you\’ll work with colleagues across our practices, spot issues early, resolve patient problems quickly, and provide insights to help our teams grow a thriving, connected patient community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support patients through the full registration and de-registration process with accuracy and care.
  • Handle a steady flow of calls, forms, and queries, following NHS and practice processes precisely.
  • Make proactive retention calls to at-risk patients, helping them stay connected to our care.
  • Handle objections with skill, turning uncertainty into confidence and completing registrations.
  • Record key information and feedback to improve our processes and patient experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practices to remove barriers and ensure registrations run smoothly.

What Good Looks Like

Within a few weeks you\’ll be confidently handling registrations, answering queries, and making retention calls. Within six months, you\’ll be a reliable, trusted member of the team, consistently accurate in your work, proactive in supporting patients, and contributing insights to improve how we operate and reduce churn.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on following processes exactly and getting things right the first time.
  • Organised; able to manage forms, follow-ups, and logs so nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Resilient; stays calm when faced with rejections, objections, or pressure.
  • Persuasive; builds trust and helps patients make positive decisions about staying registered.
  • Results-focused; motivated by targets and takes ownership of growth outcomes
  • Empathetic but commercial; cares about patients and understands business impact
  • Quick learner; picks up processes and NHS knowledge quickly and applies it with confidence

What Youorgot to be:

What you not:
We are not looking for purely basic admin with no patient contact, not someone who only ticks boxes, not someone who avoids engagement or accountability, and not someone who hates performance targets.

Benefits

We believe patients deserve seamless, supportive healthcare access, and the small details in the registration process make a big difference. Roles include the following benefits:

  • Competitive salary + bonus based on performance
  • Professional development and growth funding
  • Birthday day off
  • Cycle + tech schemes
  • Company pension
  • Paid sick pay
  • Regular team socials and events
  • Summer and festive extras

If you like working to clear goals, following processes carefully, and engaging with patients over the phone, this role is a chance to make a real difference in healthcare access. We love to meet you.
