Role Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share by managing relationships with retail travel agencies, corporate travel buyers, and leisure agents across the UK, with a particular focus on managing agents across the North of the UK. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify new business opportunities within the travel trade and corporate segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail travel agencies, corporate clients, and leisure partners. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction. Manage and grow relationships with agents located across the North of the UK.
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives for the UK market. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within retail, corporate, and leisure segments.
- Market Development: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Promote brand awareness and product offerings through trade events, roadshows, and client meetings.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate commercial agreements with agents and corporate clients in line with company policies. Ensure timely renewal of contracts and adherence to agreed terms.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis, and forecasts for management. Track KPIs and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in travel trade or airline sales within the UK market.
- Strong understanding of retail, corporate, and leisure travel segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
