Location: Homebased in UK or elsewhere in Europe
Travel: The role will involve some travel, both national & international.

Digital Trust Product Certification (DTPC) is a crucial aspect in today’s digital landscape for different business industry sectors. It serves as a testament to an organization’s commitment to maintaining integrity, security, and transparency in their digital product development and operations. It also instils confidence among users and stakeholders, helping organizations stand out in various vertical markets. Moreover, it’s a key activity for demonstrating compliance with global digital trust existing and upcoming regulations and directives.
The Purpose of the Role:
The purpose of this position is leading and overseeing the Global Digital Trust Product Certification portfolio of services, leading our team of Technical Certification Experts, who will be responsible for delivering our services to meet the needs and requirements to a diverse range of clients and sectors on a global scale. The successful applicant will be defining the DTPC strategy and working with key stakeholders on policy, certification and go-to-market plans, developing an effective roadmap for new solutions for all relevant sectors, and ultimately shaping BSI Product Certification Thought Leadership in the digital testing and certification ecosystem.
The Successful Applicant will have:
- Expertise in DTPC regulations & directives
- Knowledge of processes and applications of Quality Management Standards
- Regulatory or professional services experience
- Excellent leadership skills including a motivational approach; the ability to set clear direction, goals and priorities; highly developed communication skills; well developed decision making skills; and the ability to influence and lead change at a senior level.
- Thorough knowledge of a range of global cybersecurity regulations and relevant standards for IoT, for example: ETSI EN 303 645, ETSI TS 103 701, EN 18031, IEC 62443, UL2900, eIDAS 2 and Digital Wallet.
- An added benefit would be specific knowledge of the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU, and delegated regulation (EU) 2022/30.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Profit & loss responsibility for the Digital Domain, supporting the delivery of budgeted metrics.
- To lead the global DTPC portfolio of products addressing connectable product market access cybersecurity testing and certification services, and more.
- To lead Product Certification Accreditation across our digital domain, leading a team of technical experts.
- To provide Thought Leadership in DTPC understanding the current and future landscape, identifying key issues, challenges, and sector interactions, using it to influence policy and standards organisations and governments in the field.
- To support global salesforce in testing and certification sales activities where needed.
- To provide technical and business support where needed.
