We are seeking an experienced People Lead – Change & Transformation to play a critical role in delivering a major business transformation programme at BSI. Acting as the single point of accountability for the People Workstream, you will ensure all people-related activity is aligned, coordinated, and delivered effectively to support programme success. This is a highly visible and strategic role where you will partner closely with senior leaders, the Programme Lead, and the Business Change Lead to shape and deliver a comprehensive People Plan. You will bridge business change and people strategy ensuring workforce impacts are understood, leaders are equipped, and change is embedded sustainably through core people processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the end-to-end People Plan, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and business priorities.
  • Lead and coordinate the People Workstream across organisation design, workforce planning, capability, ER, reward, learning, and communications.
  • Act as the central point of integration across People Business Partners, Centres of Expertise, and People Operations.
  • Partner with senior leaders to translate transformation objectives into clear people and leadership implications.
  • Identify and manage workforce impacts including roles, skills, structure, and ways of working.
  • Provide visibility of people risks, dependencies, and progress to programme governance forums.
  • Support leaders through change with coaching, guidance, and practical leadership actions.
  • Ensure employee relations considerations, governance, and compliance are managed effectively.
  • Embed change into BAU people processes including performance, talent, and learning cycles.
  • Collaborate closely with the Change Lead to align people strategy with communications and change plans.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have

  • Strong experience as a People Business Partner working with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation, change, or operating model shifts.
  • Solid understanding of organisation design, workforce planning, and leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to embed change through core people processes rather than stand-alone initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and balance pace with people risk.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong resilience under pressure.
  • Degree or equivalent experience (CIPD Level 7 or similar is desirable).
