BSI is expanding investment in Innovation, both in terms of enabling and futureproofing existing key BSI business solutions, as well as radical innovation and new solutions that extend trust, resilience, and sustainability.

As the Innovation Lab Analyst for our Innovation Lab that we are planting in Singapore, you will be a key contributor in synthesizing complex solutions into easily understood concepts for multiple constituencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and competitor offerings and assist with work on Innovation projects.
  • Ensure efforts are in alignment with the Innovation Team to support customer-focused objectives, delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to meet BSI Innovation Lab objectives.
  • Help design and create innovative technical solutions.
  • Work on several projects and initiatives with customers at varying levels within the organization.
  • Utilise your technical competency to perform external market and technical research, design, program, perform software testing, and participate in proof of concept (POC) and prototyping activity.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience in the Supply Chain, Operations, or Production function, preferably in the manufacturing, healthcare, or building industry.
  • Familiarity with project management skills (PMP or Agile) and human-centric design (HCD).
  • A good working knowledge of computer software/apps development – including SFDC.
  • A strong understanding of the principles and processes in providing internal/external stakeholders, customers, and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • A good understanding of the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • The ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective actions.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills; awareness of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Strong written & verbal English language skills; a second language would be a plus.
