The Product Certification (PC) Product Manager is responsible for defining, developing, and managing the Testing, Kitemark & Certification portfolio of services throughout their lifecycle. The role ensures the portfolio meets market needs, complies with relevant industry standards, and supports commercial growth. This position serves as the central link between technical, operational, and commercial teams, driving product strategy, development, and continuous improvement. This is a full‑time permanent role, reporting into the VP Global Marketing Regulatory Services. Travel to Hemel Hempstead will be required, so the successful applicant should ideally be based within a commutable distance of this location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
  • Support the creation of business cases, value propositions, and product positioning.
  • Lead the development of new products/services from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with marketing, commercial, and operations to ensure successful implementation and delivery.
  • Provide commercial teams with product training, documentation, and technical support.
  • Develop pricing models, revenue forecasts, and ROI assessments for product lines.
  • Monitor product performance, profitability, and market share.
  • Maintain alignment with relevant testing and inspection standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in Product Management.
  • Proven experience in product lifecycle, preferably early lifecycle development with application of design controls.
  • Proven leading or participating in collecting/defining product use cases and product requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Previous experience developing product strategy at a commercial company or consulting firm.
  • Experience working with technical teams in a global matrix structure and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
